We are sorry that it has been so long since we have updated. It has been a busy few weeks here in the Philippines and we are all over the place. We have been to camps and concerts, youth meetings and church services and the Lord has done some pretty awesome things. We have only about 2 weeks left till we depart from this lovely place and it will be a very sad departure. Friends have been made that will never be forgotten and there is probably a high chance some of us return to this place. We have a video that will be posted soon and it is a good one. We have had some difficulty loading it though cause the internet here sucks. So, we are well. We are also tired. Please pray for rest and a safe last 2 weeks. Video soon to come! Peace!

This is the village we went to yesterday.
p.s: sorry i misspelled impoverished. joseph is giving me yucky for it.
hey hey. rachel here.
We had another amazing past couple of days.
Sunday- God really stirred up a passion in my heart for the youth in this city of Panabo. We spent the whole day with them- ministered to them, hung out with them and prayed for them. He is up to something for sure. I believe there is a revival stirring up in Mindanao. And it’s starting with the Youth. I see the hunger and the passion in their eyes and i feel the great awakening coming. no joke. A few of us stayed up talking late that night and it was such a powerful and significant time. I see that God put so much in them but they feel under-qualified, unspiritual and preoccupied with their jobs and they carry the weight of their parent’s expectation for their future. But the Holy Spirit was calling them out, he was pursuing them. We spoke truth into who they are- that they have a special calling in their lives and God put desires and passion in them for this time!
Monday- We went to a impoverised village last night. There were heaps of children! I talked to one of the mothers, who was 16 years old when she had her son and she told me the reason why she got pregnant was because there was nothing else to do. I look around at the many faces of the children and sensed the belittlement feeling over them. We prayed for them and declared that they are not an accident. They are unique and so loved by our Father who delights in their child-like spirit. Then we prayed for the people who were sick. Healings after healings. no lie. It reminded me of what our dear friend Olivia said- that healings should be a common occurance of Christian lifestyle. We act like it’s a miracle when people get healed but we have the same authority that Jesus had when he raised Lazarus from the dead. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead, is IN US. wow. Therefore, anything is POSSIBLE.
